After voting in Betsy Devos, I have to ask, why can’t Republicans make up their own minds on ANY issues? When Obama did something that we didn’t agree with, as Democrats and Independents, we were able to say that we didn’t agree. But the Republicans are acting like they are in some kind of cult where they cannot vote against or disagree with anything #45 does and that is freaky to me. They go along with EVERYTHING, even when it goes against all of their core beliefs. And if you don’t think this is true, then ask ANY of the republicans who voted in Betsy Devos why they voted for her. She has no qualifications for the position of Education Secretary, and yet, just because she is Trumps pick and a Republican, almost all of the republicans voted her in.
Since when did our country become a place of “vote for anyone in your party even if they suck” country? Yes, you have a party, but your party is supposed to stand for your beliefs, and if someone is in the place to be put in who doesn’t go along with what you believe, then you shouldn’t vote for them! Why is that so hard for republicans to understand? The republicans have shown us their true values and that is “Win” at all and any costs. Even if it goes against EVERYTHING your christian faith teaches and ALL of your beliefs, vote in those Republicans who are horribly unqualified and not in the best interest of our country or our people, just to WIN.
Or worse, maybe they only care about the money….
