I just read this article about Income inequality that points out what I have been saying to my children and they don’t believe me because they are too young to see the changes that have been happening.

I’ve seen it happen since I was their age. I was raised middle class and didn’t feel like the rich were that much richer. My father in the 80’s made about 50k a year and the rich people I knew who lived in the expensive houses in Miami, parents were making in the mid 200k’s. The difference was seriously only about 3/4 more. Now, average middle class is below 100k and the rich living in the expensive houses are earning millions. The separation is real. When the boss/CEO’s used to just be 4 times your salary and now they are 100 times your salary and getting bigger tax breaks, there is a real problem.
